Black, White, and Gold

Today I decided to play with the Festive Flower Punch that I just got.  I wanted to make a white poinsettia flower.  I decided to do it with some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  I also designed my project to go with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge over at The Paper Players.  Here is the challenge:

I decided to go with White, Embossing and Punch, although I also have some Ribbon and of course some Sparkle or Shine.  Here is my project:

I used the Mini Treat Bags Thinlits to make a special envelope card.  These are on the weekly deals right now along with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch and the Gold 1/8" ribbon.  Here is a look at the card pulled out:

The sentiment comes from the Oh What Fun stamp set and it is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  I also added some washi tape to the inside part as well.  This was really fun to make and uses my favorite DSP from the Holiday Catalog, the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP.  I added some gold foil sheet embossed with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder.  The "For You" is also cut from Gold Foil as well.

Thanks so much for looking at my project!  Now I think I need to try to make a red poinsettia.

  1. What a gorgeous creation! As if the treat bag wasn't pretty in its own right, the card inside is a nice extra touch! Just beautiful! A red poinsettia will be just as pretty, too! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week, Jennifer!

  2. Your poinsettia on the gold is just wonderful. What a beautiful bag.

  3. What a pretty poinsettia, love the sparkly center! Thanks for joining us at the Paper Players!
