This Is The Life Project Life Kit

I am happy to share some Project Life pages that I have done recently.  I am using the This Is The Life Kit which has some fabulous bright fun colors in it.  It goes perfectly with the pictures I have.  Here is a look at the entire two page layout:

I had some great pictures from the June NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway.  It was a beautiful day and we got lots of different shots.  Here is a loot at the left page:

As you can see it was just the three of us, my son was with his grandparents.  Here are some close ups of a few sections of the page:

I used the little squares from the This Is The Life Accessory Pack.  I also used the Day to Day and This Is The Life Project Life stamp sets.  I added some ribbon and a paper bow with the Bow Builder Punch.

Here is the journal page.

More cute squares and I used the Hello Life stamp set and some of the Metallics Sequins.

Isn't she a cutie?  Love that gappy smile!

Here is the right page.  A rare picture of Jonathan and I along with shots of our little Danica Patrick fan!  Jonathan loves going to the races, the sound, the smell, the cars.  It is his Happy Place for sure and I was glad to be able to go with them.

Thanks for looking at my layout.  Project Life makes it so easy!  Did you get a chance to see the other Project Life projects from the gals over at SSI?

I LOVE Project Life!

I am so happy that Stampin' Up began carrying Project Life items that coordinate with our already fabulous colors and tools.  I began crafting as a scrapbooker but quickly moved to cards when time became more and more scarce.  I view a scrapbook album as a marathon and a card as like a small sprint.  Project Life makes it so easy to preserve your memories in a snap.  I have two layouts to share with you today, one from last week's spooky festivities and another from a little trip my husband and I took back in September.

I used the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 bundle for this layout.  I love the kraft paper mixed in with the other Stampin' Up colors.  My kids were super cute this year for Halloween.  I am glad we got so many great picture and I am happy to already have them ready to stick in an album.  Here is a close up of each page.

Here is other layout I made:

These pages use the Happy Times kit.  I actually didn't do any stamping here.  I did cut out the letters from some Basic Black card stock using the Little Letters framelits.  Here is a close up of each page.

Thank you so much for looking.  Hopefully I have inspired you to get your Project Life out and get those pictures off your phone and into an album!  Check out the other Project Life creations over at SSI!

August Layout Sketch

We have a great Project Life inspired layout for you for this month's layout sketch.  Check it out:

I knew exactly what pictures I wanted to use for this layout.  But I had to do some flipping and flopping.  Here is my layout:

I struggled with taking a good picture.  The pocket pages make a pretty good glare and unfortunately, this was the best I could do.  I took my daughter for a mommy and me date to have tea with Cinderella.  It was such a cute little afternoon.  Jessica was dressed in a cute Cinderella outfit.  Here are some close ups:

Here is a little banner I made using banner triple punch and some fun accessories.

This stamp is a promotional stamp for demonstrators to use for the Paper Pumpkin program.  I knew it would be perfect for this page.  I embossed the sentiment in silver and added some sliver glitter for some extra magic.

I love this picture!  When we were leaving, inspiration struck and I told Jessica to go back up the steps and she knew exactly what I wanted her to do.  I love that we are two peas in a pod!

We have a bonus sketch as well, a traditional layout for you if you like.  Check it out:

I decided to make a card based on the layout.

I absolutely love this new bundle from the new Holiday Catalog.  Creating your very own snow globes is just so much fun.  I thought this would be a fun birthday card for a little girl.  I water-colored the ballerina with an aqua painter.  I stamped some vellum in Blushing Bride and then embossed it with some iridescent ice.  The base of the snow globe is also embossed in silver.  See that gorgeous blushing bride glitter ribbon?  It is just the white glitter ribbon from the Holiday Catalog.  I flipped it over an colored it with a Blushing Bride Stmapin' Write Marker.  So pretty and so easy!

Thanks so much for checking out my projects.  Did you get a chance to see the other pages over at SSI?  How about you upload your page and take part in our challenge?

Homemade Project Life Cards

I love Project Life style scrapbooking.  It makes it so easy. But I also love to make things more personal (and sometimes more complicated).  So I thought I would try my hand at making my own custom made project life cards.  I decided to use the From Land to Sea and By the Tide stamp sets for a beach/travel themed page.  Here is the page (sans pictures though):

And here is a close of of each card.  I used Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Night of Navy for a previous beachy card and loved the look so I decided to do that for my pages.

The Hello Life stamp set has some perfect Project Life card sentiments!

I love using the white perfect accents as bubbles!

I just picked up the Ornate Tag Topper punch from a weekly deal  I can't wait to use it for cards as well!

Here I covered the Night of Navy with the beachy script from By the Tide and then embossed the sentiment in white over it.  I love those big bold saying from Feels Good!

The Traveler and the Let's Get Away stamp sets came together to make this card!

Here I used Let's Get Away and From Land to Sea.  I love the tone on tone look of the ship's wheel. I finished it off with some Night of Navy seam binding!

Thanks for looking!  Now who is taking me to the beach so I can fill in the pictures?  Be sure to check out the other Project Life projects over at SSI!

June Layout Sketch

We have a super cute sketch for you today over at SSI.  Check it out:

I decided to use an older picture back when we were just a family of three, although I was about 7 weeks pregnant at the time.  Here is my layout:

I decided to make this pretty a quick and easy layout.  My base paper is a sheet of Tip Top Taupe.  I used the new Color Me Irresistible DSP and sponged it Rose Red.  I matted it on some Pear Pizzazz.  I used my envelope punch board to create the file folder look with the Rose Red card stock.

The banner is from the Celebrate Today bundle, the stamp and framelit set.

The sentiment is from the Best Thoughts hostess set.

Thanks for looking!  Don't forget to upload your layout over at SSI.

May Layout Sketch

We have a fabulous layout sketch for you for the month of May.  Check it out!

I decided to use up some of the retiring All Abloom DSP paper stack along with some of the great retiring in colors.  Here is my layout:

I finally picked up the Little Letter Framelits so now I have a way to make any title I want in any color.  I just love those!  I love this silly picture of my daughter and was so excited to make a layout for it.  Thank for looking!  Don't forget to upload your layout over at SSI!

Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the SSI Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop.  I love spring, especially after this long and cold winter here on the East Coast.  I love the leaves on the trees and the flowers blooming and the scent of a freshly mowed lawn.  We all have great projects inspired by this wonderfully lovely season.  As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 1 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - Melissa at Stamp Doc. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

Today I have several projects featuring the Painted Blooms DSP.  This paper just screams spring with the pretty colors and flowers, especially the tulips.  First up is a little gift tag and mini purse in Rose Red.  I love the pop of the Wild Wasabi baker's twine.

Next up is a Happy Spring card I made along with a wreath I made for a friend using the Rosette Die (so sad it's retiring, it's my home decor go to).  I also used the Spiral Rose Die, which I hadn't used in a long time, I forgot how easy it was!

Finally I have a Project Life Layout with pictures from the Mother's Day Tea I did with my mother and grandmother.  It was so nice.

Here is a close up of each page.  I made my own Project Life Cards from a few different stamp sets (From My Heart and Sweet Laughter)

Project Life - Let's Get Away

I am really starting to get into Project Life.  I picked up some of the retiring card and accessory kits from the Annual Catalog.  I also grabbed the travel one from the Occasions Catalog.  And I knew exactly what I could use it for, a little Project Life album for my whirlwind trip to London at the end of February.  Here are a few pictures of my album.

Thanks so much for looking.  Have you documented your travels for 2015?  The Let's Get Away Project Life Kit is awesome!  Be sure to check out all the other Spring Break Travel Documentation over at SSI.
