I got some quality crafting time today and decided to check out what was going on over at Freshly Made Sketches. I found a cool sketch and I had a very specific idea when I saw it. Here is the sketch:
The best part of doing these online challenges is that I cam use whatever I want. In this case, I wanted to use some retired stamps and accessories. And I really wanted to make a romantic feeling card. Here is my take on the sketch:
The colors are Blushing Bride, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. I used the En Francis background stamp along with Follow Your Heart from last year's Valentine's Day promotion. Initially I wanted to use the Eiffel Tower as well but I decided against it. I added some retired satin ruffle trim in Blushing Bride along with the Chantilly Lace trim. The sentiment is embossed in Blushing Bride and matted in Blushing Bride that has been embossed for some extra texture. This card came together quickly and I just love it. I think it would make for a nice anniversary card. Thanks for looking!
