Kid's Birthday Cards

For today we are spotlighting birthday cards for kids.  I have a pretty cool one to share, if I do say so myself.  It is a card for a little Army Man loving boy using the Boys Will Be Boys set and the Work of Art set.  Check it out:

Honestly I am thrilled with how this came out.  Initially I was going to sponge on the camouflage background but then I thought about the splotches in the Work of Art stamp set.  I used Crumb Cake, Baked Brown Sugar and Wild Wasabi inks for the background.  Then I used Mossy Meadow for the Paratroopers and the sentiment.  I tied a little Wild Wasabi twine from the Painted Blooms twine set to finish it off.  Be sure to check out the other kid's birthday cards from the designers at SSI.
