Leaves are Falling

So now its officially Fall, although confession, I had fall candles and decorations up since the start of September.  Two weeks ago we had our Mystery Supply Blog Hop challenge and I sent goodies to Cheryl.  What she didn't know was that I set aside the same items as I sent her.  This is the card I created:

Just to recap, I sent the Copper Foil leaf die cut, that fun fall DSP background and the Mint Macaron striped ribbon.  I am not sure how I got around to doing the ribbon and Lots of Labels Die cuts like that, but I love how it turned out.  And I did emboss the leaf with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  That is probably my favorite part of the whole card.  Here is a peek at the inside:

I am embarrassed to admit I think it is the first time I have used this stamp set and I had it for awhile now.  But I do love it and am looking forward to making a lot of quick and easy cards with it.  I also added a strip of DSP on the side, using up all my scraps.  Because no one sees the paper you hoard, use it all!

  1. Wow! Look what you did!! I just LOVE your card! When you sent me my "supplies" last month, the copper leaf was so gorgeous I didn't want to change it at all. But I really love it textured! And the whole layout of your card...ribbon & little banner at the bottom!! Love it!
