So this is a Wow not because of a technique or product. Its a Wow because I can't believe my daughter is in first grade! When I saw the sketch over at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration, I knew I wanted to make a first day of school layout. Here is the sketch first of all.
For my layout, I used the colors of my daughter's outfit, which included some retired colors (Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse) as well as some retired ribbon and embossing folders and a retired alphabet stamp.
I used a journal card from Project Life for Five Things about the First Day. And I have a hard time leaving white space so I made some confetti with the star border punch and used the 2 way glue pen to adhere them. My daughter was thrilled when she saw the layout!
Such a cute layout and you are SO RIGHT...perfect for the first day of school! I can't believe that you punched out those teeny tiny stars and glued them on! WOW!! Thanks for playing with us this week at SSINKspiration!!
