Freshly Made Sketches # 151

I struggle with the clean and simple style.  I tend to use lots of paper and ink and usually have very inky fingers at the end of some stampin' time. But it is something I think looks amazing and I like to push myself to work in other styles.  I really like this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I just love the All Abloom paper stack, so I knew I wanted to use that.  Here is my take on the sketch:

Try Stampin' on Tuesday #182

I was looking for a little inspiration and found just what I needed at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.  Here is this week's sketch:

Although the sketch seems to suggest using a watercolor technique, I was itching to use up some scrap Designer Series Paper.  I thought I could almost make a rainbow, so I decided to use the Sweet Taffy DSP.

The ribbon I used was the Rich Razzleberry stitched ribbon from last year, but the cotton ribbon in the following supply list would work perfectly.

Fancy Fold Fridays - Circle Flip Card

I am quite a collector of Stampin' Up tools.  Sometimes I buy the next big thing and its weeks before I play with it.  That is exactly what happened with the Circle Card Thinlits.  I bought them right away and they sat on my shelf.  No more though!  This is a fantastic tool!  It makes these cards so easy and quick to create.  Here is one I made while my son napped.

Here are the main supplies you need for this project:

Wow Wednesdays - Birthday Banner

For this week's Wow project, I thought I would share a banner I made for my daughter's safari themed birthday party.  I found the paper at Michaels, but all the tools used to create it are from Stampin' Up!

She absolutely loved it and I loved making it for her!  Here are the tools I used:
