Keep It Simple Saturdays - Ornament

I am sure there is a fancy name for this ornament.  It is so easy to make!  All you need is five 3 x 3 squares of DSP.  Fold each one horizontally, vertically and diagonally in one direction.  You play with the folds until you get each square to fold into a smaller square.  Then use some sticky strip to put together.  So easy!

Fancy Fold Fridays - Pinwheel Card

First of all a huge thank you to Julie DiMatteo for her fabulous tutorial on this cute and easy fancy fold!  If you have a lot of DSP around (guilty), this is a great card to make use of it!

Here it is without the belly band:

And here it is opened up:

So easy, so cute.  This took about 15 minutes.  Here is a supply list:

Mojo Monday 370 and Color Throwdown 316

I wanted to make a card to thank very special customers but I needed a little spark of inspiration so I headed over to Mojo Monday and the Color Throwdown.  Here are those challenges:

And here is my card.  I used the Many Merry Stars Stamp set.  Both customers had gotten the Many Merry Stars kit so I wanted to show them the coordinating stamp set.

Tag It Thursdays - Mrs. Claus

Here is a super cute tag featuring Mrs. Claus.  This idea popped up all over the internet using the Dress Up Framelits.  These have retired but are still available on the Clearance Rack.

Wow Wednesdays - Thankful Banner

I love the Simply Created Build a Banner kit!  You can customize it with stamps, card stock, ribbons, DSP and other embellishments.

I used the Autumn Accents Die to cut out leaves and to create a mask for the background of the banner.  This project uses lots of tools and embellishments and it was easy with the fabulous coordinating products from Stampin' Up!  The DSP and buttons have since retired but those products could be swapped out for anything you have laying around.

Technique Tuesdays - Faux Pinwheel

I made this birthday card for one of my daughter's friends.  I received a swap from my upline a few years ago using this technique.

All you need is 8 little squares of DSP.  This was really easy to do.  I think I will make more of these faux pinwheels to put on some Project Life cards.

This stamp set is fantastic for masculine or vintage cards.  I need to use it more often because the images are awesome!

Keep It Simple Saturdays - Geometrical

I got this stamp set when it came out with last year's spring catalog.  But I am embarrassed to say it hadn't seen a lot of ink.  So I put this little card together.

I used my Color Coach to find this color group; Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango and Smoky Slate.  I also used the little paint splatter that came with the very first My Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I actually put that stamp with my Gorgeous Grunge set since it works together so well!
