You're Just The Sweetest

I have a sneak peek of a new stamp set in the upcoming Occasions Catalog.  I got it when I attended a Stampin' Up! event back in November.  Here is my card:

I used Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Crush...I mean Tip Top Taupe.  Ha ha ha!   I CASEd a project in the Occasions Catalog but definitely took it in my own direction.  The border comes from Bohemian Borders.  Otherwise all images are from this new stamp set called Apple of My Eye.  I bet you can't wait to see more!  For now this is all you get!

A Masculine Birthday Card

Today I spent some time playing with the new Going Places Suite along with an exclusive Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  I can't wait to have my first Sale-A-Bration party.  Between the new Occasions catalog and all the fun stuff available to earn for free from Sale-A-Bration, 2016 is going to be off to an inky start for sure!  Of course I needed something to kick start my creativity, so I checked out Try Stampin' - Or Not - On Tuesday.  Here is the sketch:

Here is a great sketch to show off some fabulous DSP, right?  Here is my card:

I actually am using two stamp sets here, the Going Global set (that is where the globe comes from stamped on the Mossy Meadow DSP) and a Sale-A-Bration set called Sky Is the Limit (the plane and birthday sentiment).  The super fun patterned paper is from the Going Places DSP stack.  I just love these new products!  Thanks for checking out my project!

You Send Me Soaring

I have a quick and easy card for you inspired by the sketch over at Create with Connie and Mary.  Here is the sketch:

Here is a peek at an exclusive Sale-A-Bration stamp set that will only be available for a limited time.  I got it right away because it paired so nicely with the Going Places Suite.  Here is my card:

I just used took some Lost Lagoon and stamped the airplane on with the Basic Black Archival Ink.  The sentiment is stamped in Lost Lagoon for a tone on tone look.  And then the fun clouds are stamped with craft ink and colored in with the white gel pen.  This was a super easy card and thought it might be perfect to tuck into my husbands suitcase when he travels to let him know I am missing him.  Thanks for looking!

Jingle All the Way

Its officially December, so now I won't feel so crazy doing so much Christmas Crafting!  I will be sharing all the Christmas Cards I have made to send out now.  I made ten different designs, and several of each design.  I like to have a variety.  One of my very first purchases was the Jingle All the Way bundle.  Check it out:

I loved the idea of layering and using the edgelits  together.  Here is the card I made:

I decided to make a little gingerbread village of sorts.  And I loved the gold vellum and gold cording trim to accent it.  Here is the inside:

The inside sentiment comes from the Embellished Ornaments stamp set.  And I thought I would tie in the gold accents with some washi tape.

I chose a Crumb Cake envelope for the card and added the holly from the Embellished Ornaments set as well.

I love Christmas and love that I can start blaring Christmas music and I can truly Deck the Halls!  If you need more ideas for Christmas Cards, check out all the projects over at SSI!

A Sweet Thank You Card

I love the color challenge over at Just Add Ink and I had the perfect stamp set in mind.  Here are the colors first:

I have sneak peek at a new stamp set called Apple of My Eye.  Here is my card:

So the Garden Green pear is a little on the dark side, but how cute are these fruit?  I just fussy cut them and used dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand and used a Sahara Sand card base and the Sahara Sand Lace Trim.  I always need thank you notes, and I though this one would be great to have on hand.  Here it the inside:

I thought that was a cute sentiment and added some Garden Green leaves in the corners for a little more color.  Thanks for looking!

Something Fishy

I won a new stamp set at prize patrol at the Stampin' Up! event I went to in November and I have been waiting for the right time to get some ink on it.  When I saw the color scheme over at Color Throwdown, I thought it would be a great chance to use it.  Here is the challenge:

And as cute as those melted snowmen are, I went a total different direction.  Here is my card:

The Tangelo Twist fish is punched from the same punch as the poinsettia flower from the Holiday Catalog (spoiler alert, that punch is carrying over).  After stamping the Chocolate Chip Coral, I embossed the Marina Mist background with the Chevron embossing folder.  I used the sentiment from Lovely Amazing You which is one of my favorites.  It needed some ribbon, so I used the retired Tangelo Twist stitched satin ribbon.  I added some Perfect White Accents for some bubbles.  Thanks for checking out my card today!

A Project Life Card

Today is the last day of Stampin' Up's Holiday Extravaganza.  They have a great Project Life Bundle on sale using one of my favorite card packs.  I decided to use that card pack to make a card for the challenge over at The Friday Mashup.  Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

Can you find all the things on sale?  The diagonal striped card and the Hello are both from the This Is The Life Project Life Card Pack.  I just used a Watermelon Wonder card base and added a Rich Razzleberry stripe.  If you are wondering where that Bermuda Bay doily came from, I have a super cool trick for you.  The Metallic Doilies (on sale today) might be silver and gold on one side, but flip them over and sponge them any ol' color you want.  And tada, you can design your own doily!  I added a little bow tied with the Crushed Curry Baker's Twine (also on sale today).  Such a quick fun card!  I should always check out my Project Life cards for a swift kick in the inspiration!  Thanks for looking at my card today!
